Project Background

The My Baby & Me project is designed to reduce the incidence of child neglect (and perhaps abuse) in high-risk mothers by helping them create new mental models of parenting and new parenting styles and practices.

Our goals are to develop more sensitive and responsive parents (the antithesis of neglect), who are aware of the importance of language, cognitive, and reading enrichments and the role they can play helping their children to achieve important developmental milestones.
